FLIGHTFOLIO LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective September 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of the FlightFolio beta. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. FlightFolio is operated by Tyler.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity under your account. Do not share an account used for signed or regulated records.
Free beta and future plans
The current beta is free, requires no payment card, and may change or end. FlightFolio will not charge you automatically merely because the beta ends. If paid service is introduced, pricing and trial terms will be shown before you affirmatively enroll and provide a payment method. The planned launch offer is $10.99 per month after a 14-day trial, but it may be revised before billing launches.
Aviation records and regulatory information
You are solely responsible for reviewing every entry, preserving required records, and determining whether you are legal, current, qualified, and fit to act as a crewmember. Currency indicators, reports, FAA references, and AI output are informational tools—not legal advice, an official FAA record, operational authorization, or a substitute for current regulations, FAA guidance, an instructor, examiner, employer, or aviation medical examiner.
AI-assisted entries
AI can misunderstand speech, dates, airports, aircraft, registrations, and flight details. FlightFolio presents AI output as a draft and requires your review and approval before saving. Your approval confirms that you checked the entry for accuracy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, access another person’s records, interfere with security, upload unlawful material, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use FlightFolio to falsify aviation records.
Ownership
You retain ownership of your flight information. You give FlightFolio permission to host, process, back up, and display it only as needed to provide and improve the service. FlightFolio’s software, design, branding, and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Beta availability and disclaimers
The beta is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features may contain errors, change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, FlightFolio disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for decisions made without independently verifying records or current official requirements.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FlightFolio and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, missed currency, lost opportunity, or operational decisions arising from use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so those limits apply only as far as legally permitted.
Suspension, changes, and applicable law
We may suspend accounts that threaten the service or violate these terms. We may update these terms as FlightFolio develops; material changes will be presented before taking effect. Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections govern without overriding rights that cannot legally be waived.
